Our Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions may be amended from time to time and apply to all of our services.
Your Transfer cannot be liable to any loss, damage, accidents, injuries or sickness during your tour. The same applies for any changes in tour schedule due to weather, strikes or any other force majeure.
Tour operators reserve the right to change routes, schedules and itineraries if needed because of weather, road conditions or should the necessity arise because of unforeseen reasons. In those circumstances the driver’s decision is final. We advise all travelers to purchase a comprehensive travel insurance to minimize possible losses due to unforeseeable situations during your travel.
Booking and payment
By completing a reservation through our website, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below.
Your Transfer offers private transfers and private day tours and multiday tours in Iceland. Bookings can be made directly through Your Transfer website. If you are having any problems booking through Your Transfer website www.yourtransfer.is then please contact our team at [email protected].
Make sure to fill in and/or provide all necessary details upon booking your transfers/tour(s). Once you have completed the booking process, a booking confirmation will follow with your booking number and the voucher/s for the services booked. The voucher will be your proof of payment so please bring it with you on the day of your tour. All bookings must be pre-paid through our secure online payment gateway unless otherwise specifically agreed upon.
You are responsible for checking all details on your confirmation and related documents to ensure that they are correct. In the event of discrepancy, such as booking mistakes where the wrong date and/or incorrect number of participants was booked, contact Your Transfer immediately as it may not be possible to make amendments to your reservation when it gets closer to the departure date. Your Transfer is not responsible for mistakes in the booking process.
Cancellation by customer
All cancellations are to be made by email to [email protected] with as much notice as possible. However, following Icelandic business practices we reserve the right to charge cancellation fees as follows:
• A full refund if cancellation is made at least 24hours prior to scheduled tour start.
• No refund is given if cancellation is made less than 24 hours before scheduled tour start.
Changes or cancellation by Your Transfer
Your Transfer reserve the right to cancel any transfer/tour or change tour schedule with no refund at any given time during or before the tour, due to weather conditions, road conditions or any other conditions beyond our control or if our driver deems conditions to be unsafe. Other cancellation made by Your Transfer, that do not fall within the above conditions, are entitled for a full refund.
Refund is only given to the same card as used for payment. No exception.
Pickup and Time limits
During the booking process you will be able to choose a pickup location and starting time. If you do not show up for the scheduled pickup on your booking, your reservation is nonrefundable.
When picking up at the Keflavik International Airport your driver will wait for up to 75 minutes after your flight’s confirmed landing. If you don’t show up within that time limit the driver will leave and your booking will be canceled. In case of lost luggage etc. which might hinder you from making the time limit please contact us on +354-780-4530 before the time limit is up.
When picking up at a hotel, the Blue Lagoon etc. the time limit is set to 15 minutes. After that, the driver will leave, and your booking will be canceled.
Your Transfer will accept liability for the negligence of its employees causing direct physical injury to passengers only to the extent that it is obliged under Icelandic law.
Your Transfer can in no way be held responsible for damages due to wrong information supplied by you. It’s your responsibility to keep track of your flight times and any other booking not supplied by us. In case of changes to your schedule, flight times etc. it’s your responsibility to inform us in order to reschedule your bookings, if possible.
By confirming your booking with Your Transfer, you acknowledge that we have taken all reasonable steps to safeguard its liability in this respect.
Your Transfer carries all legally required insurances, both for its vehicles and as a registered Tour Operator. This means among other things that all passengers in our vehicles are covered by that vehicle’s insurance. We do however advise all travelers to purchase comprehensive additional travel insurance before traveling to Iceland to minimize possible losses due to unforeseeable situations during your travel.
At any time, we reserve the right to alter any tour itinerary due to weather, road conditions or any other circumstances beyond our control. This includes cancellation at any given moment during any tour in progress to ensure the safety or our clients and staff. In those circumstances driver’s decision is final.
Your Transfer does not take any responsibility for any damages, injuries or accidents, fatal or non-fatal, caused by our client’s negligence, acts of third parties or any outside circumstances or events such as weather, road conditions, natural disasters or any other similar causes beyond our control.
Your Transfer and its staff are dedicated to preserving and protecting the delicate nature and wildlife of Iceland. We expect the same from our clients. Therefore, our staff will never engage in off-road driving or any other activity which might damage our beautiful but delicate nature.
